Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, vendors, and delivery personnel per access control procedures and site policies.
• Monitor and manage entry/exit at residential gates or entrances, verifying authorization.
• Maintain visitor, vendor, and delivery records and communicate access-related information.
• Respond to incidents calmly and follow reporting/escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular patrols of common areas and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.

As an Access Control Officer at a residential community, you will help maintain a welcoming, secure environment by monitoring entry points, verifying visitors, conducting routine patrols, and providing exceptional customer service. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $18.64 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat 05:30 AM - 01:30 PM
• Sun 05:30 AM - 01:30 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, vendors, and delivery personnel by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor and manage entry and exit access at residential community gates or entrances, verifying authorization in accordance with established procedures.
• Maintain accurate visitor, vendor, and delivery records and communicate access-related information to appropriate site contacts.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of residential common areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
