Allied Universal in Lewisville, TX is hiring a Part-Time Security Officer for Access Control Driver Operations. You will monitor entry points, verify IDs, manage visitor and driver access, perform patrols, and respond to incidents, while delivering professional customer service in a fast-paced logistics site.

The role requires a valid driver's license, at least 6 months of security experience, and the ability to work Tue and Wed 6:00 AM–2:00 PM.

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• A background check and drug screen are required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out access control procedures and site policies.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and authorization, and manage access records.
• Control access to shipping, receiving, yard, and restricted areas per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and document required actions in a calm, solution-focused manner.
• Conduct routine patrols of the facility and report hazards or unusual conditions.

You will monitor entry points, verify credentials, manage visitor and vehicle access, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence that helps deter incidents. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $16.84 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Tue 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Wed 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and authorization, manage visitor and driver access, and maintain accurate access-related records.
• Control access to shipping, receiving, yard, and other restricted areas in accordance with site procedures, helping to deter unauthorized entry.
• Respond to incidents, access-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and complete required documentation.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, perimeter, parking areas, and access points; report unusual conditions and potential hazards.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
