Responsibilities

• Conduct regular patrols of access points, loading and parking areas and perimeter.
• Maintain logs and reports of access activity and incidents for leadership review.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to drivers, visitors, and/or employees by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and/or authorized access credentials, and document visitor, contractor, and vehicle activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to access-related incidents, delivery disruptions, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.
• Maintain accurate logs and reports of access activity, incidents, and observations, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
