Job summary

Allied Universal, Earth City, MO, is seeking a Security Officer Facility Entry Coordination to safeguard clients and maintain secure access through verification of credentials, visitor control, and professional interaction with employees and visitors.

You will support daily operations at a logistics/distribution site with a daytime schedule, performing patrols and incident response while delivering outstanding service and a safe environment.

Qualifications

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants may be subject to a background investigation and drug screen.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, drivers, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Monitor and control access to the distribution location by verifying identification and documenting visitor/contractor entry.
• Observe inbound and outbound vehicle activity at access points, maintain entry records, and report unauthorized access or unusual activity.
• Respond to incidents calmly and follow site procedures, communicating details to supervision.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points and perimeters to deter unauthorized activity.

As a Security Officer Facility Entry Coordination in Earth City, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will help maintain a secure environment by managing access points, verifying credentials, monitoring entry activity, and assisting visitors and employees with professionalism. You will remain visible to help deter incidents while delivering outstanding customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, drivers, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor and control access to the distribution location by verifying identification, documenting visitor and contractor entry, and directing authorized personnel to designated areas.
• Observe inbound and outbound vehicle activity at access points, maintain entry records, and report unauthorized access attempts or unusual activity to appropriate site contacts.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and communicating relevant details to supervision.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, employee entrances, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
