Job Description

As a Security Officer Access Monitoring Driver in Stevenson, AL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will manage badge access, monitor entry points, conduct routine patrols, and provide outstanding customer service. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal policy. You will help deter security-related incidents through a visible presence, clear communication, and teamwork while acting with integrity in a caring, reliable, and innovative culture.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, drivers, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Monitor access points, verify identification and authorization, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate entry and exit records for personnel, deliveries, and vehicles.
• Control access to restricted areas, loading docks, gates, and facility entrances in accordance with established site requirements.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, promptly documenting observations and notifying appropriate site contacts.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, production areas, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
