Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Officer Access Credential Driver in Monmouth, IL. You will provide client-facing security, verify credentials, and monitor access points while supporting a safe, compliant environment on site.

Responsibilities include patrolling entry points, handling incidents calmly, and documenting access-related activities. The role emphasizes flexible scheduling through our Claim a Shift platform and focuses on food/beverage locations with a strong emphasis

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, manage visitor and contractor entry, and maintain accurate access-related logs in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, promptly communicating with appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, production-adjacent areas, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help identify unauthorized access or unusual activity.
• Support a professional, orderly environment at a food and beverage location by following sanitation-conscious site requirements and reporting maintenance or operational concerns through established channels.
