As a Security Officer Credentialing Driver in Indianapolis, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity. As a Part-Time Security Officer, you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. As an Access Control Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and help maintain a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate clearly, and support security-related operations with integrity and teamwork. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Saturday: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Sunday: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and/or contractors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor and control access to the facility by verifying credentials, issuing visitor badges, maintaining entry records, and reporting access irregularities in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to access control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate personnel as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, entry points, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.
• Maintain accurate logs, incident reports, and access-related documentation while communicating professionally with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
