Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check and drug screen required.

• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and drivers by carrying out site-specific security procedures and emergency response activities at a food and beverage production location.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, manage visitor and contractor entry, and maintain access logs.
• Respond to access-control alarms and incidents in a calm,1 problem-solving manner and escalate as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, perimeters, parking areas, and exterior grounds to deter unauthorized activity.
• Support orderly movement of people and deliveries by directing visitors and vendors to check-in locations.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $18.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Wed: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Thur: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Fri: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and drivers by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities at a food and beverage production location.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, manage visitor and contractor entry, and maintain accurate access-control logs in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to access-control alarms, unauthorized-entry concerns, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to established procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, production-area perimeters, parking areas, and exterior grounds to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Support the orderly movement of people and deliveries by communicating site entry requirements and directing visitors, vendors, and contractors to appropriate check-in locations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
