Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific access-control procedures and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor access points, verify identification and authorization, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate entry and exit records in accordance with facility procedures.
• Control vehicle and pedestrian access to a chemical processing location, directing approved traffic to designated areas and reporting unauthorized access attempts.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and notification procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, buildings, parking areas, and the perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

As a Security Officer - Access Credential in Mulberry, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a chemical/petrochemical location, you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, manage visitor access, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols, communicate professionally with employees and guests, and support a welcoming environment. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $18.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Wed: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Thur: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sat: 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM
• Sun: 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
