Job summary

Allied Universal in San Francisco, CA, is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Access Control to safeguard clients across industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom. You’ll monitor access points, patrol assigned areas, and provide excellent customer service in a dynamic tech environment.

Minimum requirements include a HS diploma, background check, and drug screening; CPR/First Aid and guard card are preferred. This is a full-time role with schedules listed.

Qualifications

• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification are preferred.
• Possession of a guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of office spaces, common areas, parking areas, and the perimeter, reporting unusual activity or conditions in accordance with site procedures.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as directed by site policies, and help to deter unauthorized entry.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate observations and escalation needs to appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation while maintaining a professional presence in a dynamic technology environment.
