Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Access Control Operations in Cordova, TN. You will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and support a secure environment for employees and visitors at a busy logistics location.

This full-time role offers a pay rate of $17.39 per hour and a daytime schedule on Tue, Wed, and Thu from 11:00 AM to 09:00 PM. You will provide professional customer service, respond to security-related concerns, conduct regular patrols of access

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor and control access points for personnel, visitors, contractors, and delivery drivers entering and leaving the logistics and distribution location.
• Verify credentials, maintain visitor and driver logs, communicate access requirements, and report unauthorized access attempts or unusual activity.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access areas, trailer yards, loading zones, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.

What You'll Do:
