Job summary

Columbia Sportswear Company is seeking a Security Officer to maintain a safe environment for employees, visitors, contractors, and property. You will handle access control, CCTV monitoring, patrols, incident response, and customer service from the Headquarters security desk.

The role requires ability to stand and patrol, report incidents, and enforce site policies. Onsite work may include evenings, weekends, and holidays; training and certifications are encouraged.

Qualifications

• Requires 2-3 years of security experience.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Valid security license or certification as required by state.
• Ability to stand and patrol for extended periods.
• Excellent observation and decision-making under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Monitor access control systems and surveillance from security desk.
• Conduct interior and exterior patrols of headquarters facilities.
• Respond to alarms, incidents, and emergencies with proper reporting.
• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors.
