Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Access Control Patrol in Winnemucca, NV to serve government healthcare locations and protect patients, staff and visitors with professional, courteous service.

You will monitor access points, perform routine patrols, respond to incidents, maintain documentation, and uphold Allied Universal values of integrity and teamwork. Full-time position with a $20/hour pay rate and shift schedule.

Qualifications

• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, and baton preferred.
• A guard card or license preferred.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background checks as per law; drug screen as permitted.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures and access-control protocols.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies in a calm, professional manner; notify appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular patrols of buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials; provide directions or assistance.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain documentation for incidents and security activities.

As a Security Officer Access Control Patrol in Winnemucca, NV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a government healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Tue 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Sat 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sun 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and contractors by carrying out site‑specific procedures, access‑control protocols, and emergency response activities at a government healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and public agencies as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security‑related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and provide directions or assistance to support an orderly environment.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain required documentation for incidents, observations, patrols, and security‑related activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, and baton is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
