Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors at a technology infrastructure location by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, issue temporary access credentials, and maintain accurate access-related records in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to access control alarms, unauthorized access attempts, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to established protocols.
• Monitor cameras, alarm systems, and other access control equipment; report malfunctions, unusual activity, and security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, lobby areas, business spaces, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

What You'll Do

Minimum Requirements

• Experience with access control and badges is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• This is primarily a driving post.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
