Job summary

Allied Universal in Temple, TX seeks a Security Officer Access Control Driver to protect manufacturing and industrial sites. You will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor activity, and provide courteous customer service while on patrol.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by following security-related procedures, site policies, and access-control protocols.

• Conduct regular patrols of access points, production areas, shipping/receiving locations, and perimeter.
• Maintain accurate access-control logs and incident reports per Allied Universal procedures.

As an Access Control Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will help manage entry points, verify access credentials, monitor activity, and support a secure workplace. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $17.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Tue 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Wed 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Thur 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Fri 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access-control protocols, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor and control access to the manufacturing location by verifying credentials, documenting visitor and contractor entry, and directing authorized personnel to appropriate areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, production areas, shipping and receiving locations, and the perimeter to help identify unauthorized access or unusual activity.
• Maintain accurate access-control logs, incident reports, and related documentation in accordance with site requirements and Allied Universal procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
