• Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, loading and parking areas, and the perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Maintain security records and communicate information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

As an Access Control Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and support a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and drivers. Pay Rate: $17.41 / Hour

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor and control access to the facility, including verifying credentials, logging visitors, contractors, and deliveries, and directing authorized personnel to designated areas.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, loading areas, parking areas, business operations, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Maintain accurate security-related records, including visitor logs, incident reports, and access-control documentation, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
