Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Credential Issuance Services in Whitestown, IN to safeguard client sites across logistics and distribution environments. You will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor activity, and help maintain a secure, welcoming environment while delivering exceptional customer service.

This full-time, overnight position offers $18.00 per hour and a schedule of 11:00 PM–07:00 AM, Monday through Sunday as required.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required in accordance with laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor and control access to the logistics and distribution location by verifying credentials, documenting visitor, vendor, and driver entry and exit, and directing authorized personnel to designated areas.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entrances, loading areas, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized access and identify unusual conditions.
• Maintain accurate access-control logs and communicate relevant observations to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
