Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Access Control in Wichita Falls, TX. This part-time role focuses on screening, credential verification, and customer service at a distribution site. Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of security-related experience.
• Experience using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific screening procedures and emergency response activities.
• Screen employees, contractors, visitors, packages, and personal belongings per site procedures and access requirements.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, and document visitor and delivery activity to maintain controlled access.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and communicate observations to site contacts or responders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas and report security concerns per site procedures.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Screen employees, contractors, visitors, packages, and personal belongings in accordance with site procedures and applicable access requirements.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, and document visitor and delivery activity to help maintain controlled access to the facility.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; promptly communicate observations and concerns to appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, including the business perimeter, loading areas, parking areas, and access points; report security-related concerns according to site procedures.

Minimum Requirements

• Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Experience using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
