Allied Universal in Spokane, WA is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer (Access Management). The role focuses on managing entry points, verifying credentials, and providing professional customer service at a manufacturing and industrial site.

Pay rate is $18.73 per hour with daytime weekend shifts. Ideal candidates will meet minimum requirements and commit to a drug screen and background check in accordance with laws and licensing rules.

Qualifications

• Guard card or license preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, background investigation will be conducted.
• Drug screen required as permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and visitor authorizations, issue visitor badges, and maintain accurate access-related logs and records.
• Control access for vehicles, deliveries, and contractors in accordance with established site procedures and restricted‑area requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, escalating matters through appropriate channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of facility grounds, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

What You'll Do:
