Qualifications

• Guard card or license preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background investigation will be conducted as per law.
• Drug screening required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply.
• Driver's license required for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to travelers, visitors, employees, and contractors by following site-specific procedures and access-control protocols.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and other events in a calm, structured manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of terminal areas, parking facilities, access points, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor and report unusual activity, unsecured doors, and hazards to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain detailed activity logs and incident reports while interacting professionally with airport staff and the public.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to travelers, visitors, employees, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities at an airport location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and notification procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of terminal areas, parking facilities, access points, roadways, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor and report unusual activity, unsecured doors, damaged property, traffic concerns, and other potential hazards to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain detailed activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation while interacting professionally with airport personnel and the public.

Minimum Requirements

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
