Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer – Parking Lot Patrol in San Antonio, TX. You will provide security, customer service, and deter incidents while reporting concerns to site management.

As a patrol officer you will cover the retail location, parking lots, and perimeter, report incidents, and engage customers professionally. The role uses our shift-claim platform and supports community safety.

Qualifications

• Guard card/license preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check required under federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• Valid driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service and enforce site policies, including emergency response.
• Respond to incidents calmly and address customer concerns.
• Conduct regular foot/vehicle patrols of the retail location, parking lots, and perimeter.
• Observe and report suspicious activity, hazards, and policy violations.
• Assist with access control, deliveries, vendor entry, and parking lot traffic.

As a Security Officer - Parking Lot Patrol in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a retail location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide outstanding customer service. You will communicate professionally with customers and team members while reporting security-related concerns. Pay Rate: $16.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeWed02:00 PM - 10:00 PMThur02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, customers, and associates by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, receiving areas, parking lots, and perimeter boundaries.
• Observe and report suspicious activity, policy violations, hazards, and maintenance concerns to site management and/or appropriate personnel.
• Assist with access control, delivery and vendor entry, and traffic or parking lot activity as directed by site-specific procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
