Allied Universal is seeking an Unarmed Security Officer in Lincoln, NE. You will monitor healthcare facilities, perform patrols, and support access control while delivering excellent customer service to patients, visitors, and staff.

This full-time role requires a high school diploma, background check, and a drug screen where permitted by law. You will work daytime to evening shifts with a focus on safety and professional conduct within a dynamic healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and contractors by following security procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents and medical emergencies calmly and report to appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of healthcare facilities, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to deter incidents.
• Monitor access points and assist with directions and escorts as requested, reporting unusual conditions to site leadership.
• Prepare accurate incident reports and communicate with dispatch and leadership.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Unarmed Access Control Patrol in LINCOLN, NE, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control and alarm response, and deliver exceptional customer service to patients, visitors, and staff. Pay Rate: $22.36 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, behavioral health concerns, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following facility protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of healthcare facilities, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and escorts as requested, and report unusual conditions or policy violations to site leadership.
• Prepare accurate incident reports and maintain clear communication with dispatch, facility staff, and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
