Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and contractors by carrying out security procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents and medical emergencies calmly and follow established protocols.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols throughout healthcare facilities, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access points, assist with visitor direction and access procedures, and report issues to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear incident reports and communicate with facility staff and Allied Universal leadership.

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Access Control in Burlington, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control activities, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. You will use technology to document observations and respond professionally to concerns while contributing to a caring culture built on teamwork, integrity, reliability, agility, and innovation.

Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Wed 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Thur 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Fri 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Sat 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner while following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout healthcare facilities, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points, assist with visitor direction and access procedures, and report unusual conditions or policy concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear, accurate incident reports and maintain professional communication with facility staff, visitors, and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least two years of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
