Qualifications

• CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Alarm panel experience preferred.

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check per laws.
• Drug screen per law.
• Licensing requirements may apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by enforcing security procedures and site policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interiors, exteriors, parking areas, and perimeter areas.
• Monitor access points and verify visitor/employee/contractor entry per access-control procedures.
• Respond to incidents and alarms calmly and follow escalation and reporting protocols.
• Complete detailed activity reports and communicate observations to site contacts and leadership.

As a Security Officer Patrol in Lesage, WV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, help to deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. Pay Rate: $15.31 / Hour

Job Schedule

• Thur: 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM
• Fri: 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM
• Sat: 12:00 AM - 12:00 PM
• Sun: 12:00 AM - 12:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities within a healthcare and laboratory environment.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or access concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify visitor, employee, and contractor entry in accordance with site-specific access-control procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting protocols.
• Complete detailed activity reports and communicate observations, incidents, and maintenance concerns to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR and First Aid are preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
