Job summary

Allied Universal in Lenoir, NC is seeking a Security Officer Access Control to protect client sites across tech/data center environments. You will monitor and patrol, maintain a visible presence to deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communications to visitors and staff.

This full-time role pays $22.66 per hour and requires a high school diploma, a valid guard card/license if applicable, CPR/First Aid certifications preferred, and the ability to pass background checks

Qualifications

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and policies.
• Be able to respond to incidents and maintain calm in emergencies.
• Complete routine patrols and monitor access and infrastructure areas.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities within a technology data center environment.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, perimeter, access points, and critical infrastructure areas to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor visitor, contractor, and employee access in accordance with site requirements, maintaining accurate records and reporting policy violations or suspicious activity.
• Support protection of sensitive technology operations by following confidentiality requirements and communicating observations to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

As a Security Officer Access Control in Lenoir, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Security Officer supporting a dynamic technology and telecommunications location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. What You\'ll Do

Minimum Requirements

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification are preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver\'s license will be required
