Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Part Time X Ray Access Control in Indianapolis, IN. You will protect clients across logistics and distribution environments, screen personnel and packages, monitor access points, and provide courteous, proactive security support.

Qualifications

• Requires X-Ray screening experience or exposure.
• Experience with loss prevention and access control is preferred.
• Badge/credentials handling experience preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Must be at least 18 for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Screen personnel, visitors, deliveries, and packages per site procedures and access-control requirements.
• Monitor access points and review credentials to support authorized entry and deter unauthorized access.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly following reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular patrols around the facility, loading areas, and perimeter.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Screen personnel, visitors, deliveries, and/or packages in accordance with site procedures and access-control requirements.
• Monitor access points and review credentials or documentation to support authorized entry and help to deter unauthorized access.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility, loading areas, and perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by site.

Minimum Requirements:

• X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
