Job Description

As a Security Officer Access Control in Clarksville, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and communicate professionally with employees, visitors, and delivery personnel. You will support a welcoming, secure environment while helping to deter incidents through a visible presence and timely reporting. What You’ll Do

• Provide customer service to clients, drivers, visitors, and employees by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.


• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and authorization, maintain visitor and contractor records, and direct authorized personnel to appropriate areas.


• Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.


• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, perimeter, parking areas, trailer yards, and access points to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.


• Document daily activities, incidents, and irregular conditions in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.


• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.


• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.


• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.


• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
