Allied Universal, North America's leading security and facility services company, is hiring a Security Officer Access Control in Augusta, GA. You will monitor entry points, verify badges, manage visitor access, and conduct patrols to deter security incidents while delivering excellent customer service.

We offer full-time schedules with pay rate of $14.50 per hour, ongoing training, and career growth opportunities within a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Be at least 18 years for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check required under federal, state and local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and deliveries while enforcing site-specific access control procedures.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and manage vehicle gates to control authorized access.
• Maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and delivery records and communicate access concerns to site contacts.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly following security procedures.
• Conduct regular patrols of entry points, perimeters, parking areas and exterior grounds.

As an Access Control Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor entry points, verify badges and credentials, manage visitor access, and conduct routine patrols to help deter security-related incidents. Pay Rate: $14.50 / Hour

Job Schedule

• Wed 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Thur 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Fri 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sat 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sun 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points, visitor entry, credential verification, and vehicle gates to help control authorized access to the manufacturing and industrial location.
• Maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and delivery records and communicate access-related concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Respond to incidents, access control alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established security-related procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, production-area perimeters, parking areas, and exterior grounds; working environments and conditions may vary by site.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
