Job summary

Allied Universal in Carson City, NV is hiring a Security Officer Identity Management to protect clients across tech, media and telecom sectors. You will monitor access points, perform routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to deter security incidents while delivering professional customer service.

This full-time role requires at least a high school diploma, background check, possible license, and willingness to pass a drug screen.

Qualifications

• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating relevant information to appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the technology, media, and telecommunications location, including interior areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter access points.
• Monitor access activity and report unusual conditions, policy concerns, and maintenance issues according to site procedures.
• Complete required reports, logs, and other documentation accurately and in a timely manner.

• Fri 08:00 AM - 08:00 PM
• Sat 08:00 AM - 08:00 PM
• Sun 08:00 AM - 08:00 PM
