As a Security Officer Access Authorization Driver in Brewton, AL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Access Control Security Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will help manage entry points, verify access credentials, monitor activity, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license. You will remain visible to help deter incidents, communicate professionally, and deliver reliable service through teamwork, integrity, and Allied Universal’s people-first culture.

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $13.39 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Tue: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Fri: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sat: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sun: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access-control protocols, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor and control access to the manufacturing location by verifying credentials, processing visitors and contractors, maintaining entry records, and communicating access concerns to site contacts.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, offices, parking areas, gates, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.
• Observe vehicle and pedestrian traffic at assigned entry points, apply site-specific screening procedures, and maintain accurate activity logs.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
