Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time for the Indianapolis, IN area. This role offers flexible hours with fixed anchor shifts and the ability to pick up additional shifts to increase earnings, within a supportive, community-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, drivers, visitors, and employees by carrying out site‑specific security‑related procedures, access‑control policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor access points for a logistics and distribution location; verify credentials, authorize entry in accordance with site procedures, and maintain visitor, driver, and delivery records.
• Respond to incidents, access‑control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document activities according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of facility access points, parking areas, trailer yards, docks, and the perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Help to deter unauthorized access by observing inbound and outbound traffic, reporting discrepancies, and following established escalation procedures.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Access Authorization in Indianapolis, IN, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Thur 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.
