Job summary

Allied Universal in San Francisco, CA, is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer - Access Audit Patrol to protect residents and property. You will perform access control, conduct regular patrols, and maintain a visible presence to deter incidents while delivering excellent customer service.

This role requires at least 1 year of security experience and the ability to work weekends, with pay at $27.90 per hour and a schedule of Saturday and Sunday nights.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols of residential common areas, entrances, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with property procedures, helping to maintain an orderly residential environment.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; document observations and complete required reports.
• Communicate with property management, emergency responders, and Allied Universal leadership regarding incidents, hazards, and security-related concerns.
