Job Description

The Security Officer is responsible for maintaining security, including managing money transactions, crowd control, assisting guests and team members, and supporting the Security Supervisor. The role involves patrolling assigned areas, responding to emergencies, and preparing incident reports.

• Maintain order and provide exceptional guest service at all times.
• Monitor and patrol designated areas to ensure safety.
• Assist guests and employees with directions and procedures.
• Protect monetary transfers and jackpots.
• Assist sick or injured individuals.
• Report unsafe conditions.
• Verify identification for individuals under 21.
• Respond to violations and incidents appropriately.
• Document incidents through detailed reports.
• Operate company vehicles safely.
• Respond to emergencies, including evacuations and establishing perimeters.
• Perform dispatch duties and log activities accurately.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.

Qualifications

• Ability to stand or walk extensively in various environments.
• Capable of navigating stairs and uneven surfaces.
• Strong report writing skills.
• Ability to respond quickly to conflicts and defend oneself and others.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and assist injured persons.
• Effective communication skills.
• Proficiency with tools and equipment like keys, handcuffs, flashlights, radios, and computers.
• Flexibility to work different shifts.
• Possibility to drive company vehicles.
• Adaptability to varying environmental conditions.
• Ability to handle confidential information.
• Knowledge of investigative procedures is a plus.

• Valid driver's license required.
• CPR and blood-borne pathogen certifications required.
