Job summary

Medpace is seeking a full-time Security Officer to join our Facilities team in Cincinnati, OH. This role supports a safe campus environment through patrols, surveillance checks, alarm response, and controlled access.

Two shifts are available (2nd: 3 pm–11:30 pm; 3rd: 11:00 pm–7:30 am) with differential pay. Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma, a valid driver’s license, basic computer skills, and the ability to follow procedures with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Prior security experience preferred.
• Current and legal driver’s license.
• Ability to follow procedures with minimal supervision.
• Basic computer skills including MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Report daily surveillance activity to Security Supervisor.
• Patrol campus and maintain security presence.
• Check surveillance cameras for disruptions or unlawful acts.
• Respond to alarms and assess situations.
• Ensure exits, doors, and windows are secured after operations.
• Monitor and authorize access for vehicles and people on site.
• Maintain inventory of security equipment.
• Call local authorities if needed.
• Provide assistance to individuals on campus.
• Communicate facilities concerns to management.
• Complete safety training programs and reports.
