Job summary

AAA Auto Club Enterprises in California seeks a Full Time Day Shift Security Officer to manage access control, patrol the property and respond to incidents, ensuring safety of staff and protection of assets.

You will complete required administrative duties, prepare written reports, adhere to security procedures and work under pressure with professionalism.

Qualifications include a High School diploma, one year security experience, guard card, and ability to work independently with strong judgment.

Qualifications

• Minimum one (1) year security work experience in a professional setting.
• Guard card required.
• Experience in performing technical procedures and completing reports.
• Comfortable working under pressure.

• Familiarity with Security policies and procedures.
• Ability to assess and quickly react to emergency situations while maintaining composure and professionalism.
• Ability to follow detailed, step by step, procedures.
• Understand operational priorities, take initiative, and exercise sound independent judgment.
• Capable of working independently without extensive direction or oversight.
• Use technology to process information, improve security and communications.
• Strong multi-tasking skills.
• Detail-oriented focus.
• Preferred certifications: baton, mace, handcuffing, CPR/First Aid/AED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Patrol perimeter, exterior and interior areas; protect personnel and property.
• Respond to security incidents and emergencies; follow SOPs.

Job description

We are seeking to fill a Full Time Day Shift Security Officer position.

Security Officers are responsible for performing access control, routine patrols, emergency/incident response and ensuring completion of administrative requirements as assigned by the Security Office.

Monitoring all access/exit points for anomalies and conducting access control; patrolling perimeter, exterior and interior of the property to ensure the safety of personnel and protection of property; enforcing Club policies; engaging in security training; completing written reports; documenting daily activities; abiding by standard operating procedures; and responding to security incidents.

The starting pay range for this position is:

$17.36 - $29.53

Additionally, for full time positions, you will be eligible to participate in our incentive program based upon the achievement of organization, team and personal performance.
