AAA Auto Club Enterprises in Pittsburgh is seeking a qualified armed security professional to protect people and property at our facilities. You will monitor access points, perform patrols, and respond to emergencies with training and sound judgment.

The role requires 4–6 years of armed security experience, valid firearms credentials, and a proven ability to stay calm under pressure while following procedures. We offer comprehensive benefits and a team-focused work environment.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent preferred.
• 4–6 years armed security work experience in a professional setting preferred.
• Familiarity with security policies and procedures.
• Experience performing technical procedures and completing reports.
• Ability to work calmly and effectively under duress and exercise good judgment with weapons.
• Dedicated to providing quality service.
• Ability to respond quickly to emergencies while remaining professional.
• Ability to follow detailed procedures and work independently.
• Understand priorities, take initiative, and use information technology to enhance security.
• Detail-oriented with multi-tasking ability.
• Valid Driver's License and good DMV record; Guard Registration; Firearms permit/license required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct access control at all access/exit points to ensure only authorized personnel and guests are admitted; remove unauthorized individuals.
• Respond quickly to emergencies, follow procedures, make notifications as required.
• Patrol perimeter, exterior and interior to protect people and property; complete written reports.
• Identify potential threats to employees, facilities and operations.
• Complete assigned Club training and ongoing armed security training.
• Maintain required firearm licenses/certifications.
• The Security Department is a 24/7 resource serving all employees and guests.

Job Duties

• Conduct access control at all access/exit points to ensure only authorized personnel and guests are permitted on property and unauthorized individuals are removed.
• Quickly respond to emergency situations based on available information and training, make appropriate notifications, follow emergency response procedures.
• Patrol the perimeter, exterior and interior of the property to ensure the safety of all personnel and protection of the property. Complete written reports as required.
• Identify threats to employees, facilities, and operations.
• Complete assigned training according to Club policies and procedures.
• Complete continuous armed security training and maintain appropriate firearm licenses/certifications.
• The Security Department is a 24/7 resource, which provides assistance and services to all employees and guests.

• Valid Driver's License, acceptable Department of Motor Vehicles record and minimum liability insurance - Issued by State Required
• Guard Registration - Bureau of Security & Investigative Services Required
• Firearms Permit/License Required
