Job summary

LifeBridge Health is looking for a Security Officer in Westminster, CO to support hospital safety and security programs. Under limited supervision, you will help protect associates, visitors, patients, buildings, grounds and equipment.

You will oversee parking enforcement on hospital grounds and at related facilities, assist in handling combative individuals, and perform shift duties as staffing requires, prioritizing safety and the use of the least restrictive measures.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in security or safety roles.
• Valid Driver's License (Learner's Permit or Provisional License cannot be accepted).
• Successful clearance by Fleet Safety Department to operate vehicles.
• BLS Certification from the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the implementation of the hospital's safety and security programs.
• Maintain the safety and/or security of Associates, Visitors, Patients, buildings, grounds and equipment.

• Provide assistance in handling combative and/or unruly Patients or Visitors, with minimum force.
• Perform shift duties as circumstances, scheduling and staffing levels require.

Provides assistance in handling combative and/or unruly Patients or Visitors. Must be able to intervene with physically aggressive individuals, with a focus on use of the least restrictive measures and the use of force only when absolutely necessary.

Performs shift duties as circumstances, situations, scheduling and staffing levels require.

Pay Range: $18.00 to $27.29 Based On Experience
