Job summary

Titan Security is seeking Security Officers with gate operations experience for industrial/warehouse sites in University Park, IL. Starting pay at $19.50 per hour, with benefits including PTO, holidays, medical and dental insurance, and opportunities for career growth.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or GED, pass background and drug screening, and be able to meet physical demands including extensive foot patrols.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High School diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Able to acquire and maintain a valid Illinois Permanent Employee Registration Card (PERC).
• Able to pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
• Able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Able to meet physical essential functions of the job, including lifting 50+ lbs, foot patrols, stairs, and inclement weather.
• Must be comfortable with walking and extensive foot patrols.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent Customer Service to all parties encountered on duty, including directions and information.
• Maintain clear, accurate administrative logs at front desk pertaining to people or property including packages.
• Control access for tenants, visitors or vendors as required.
• Monitor security guard cameras and conduct patrols to guard against theft and maintain a safe environment.
• Respond to incidents, including emergencies, and record data on incidents for management.
• Other duties as assigned.

Titan is looking for Security Officers experienced in Gate Operations at industrial/warehouse sites in University Park, IL!

Responsibilities of Security Officers include, but are not limited to:

Required Qualifications of Security Officers:

• Able to acquire and maintain a valid Illinois Permanent Employee Registration Card (PERC), including state accredited training requirements
• Able to pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
• Able to read, write, speak, and understand English
• Able to meet physical essential functions of the job, which can include lifting 50+ lbs, completing foot patrols, walking up and down stairs, working in inclement weather
• Must be comfortable with walking, and doing extensive foot patrols.

Preferred Qualifications of Security Officers:

• Industrial Site - Access Control, Inbound and Outbound trailer Management. Must be comfortable with performing accurate data entry in a fast-paced environment.
• Evening, overnight, and weekend availability required
