Job summary

Marksman Security LLC is seeking Unarmed Security Officers in New York. You will provide excellent customer service, conduct patrols on foot and by vehicle, control access for patrons, and monitor cameras to maintain a safe environment.

Qualifications include being at least 21, having a high school diploma or GED, able to obtain a security guard license, and ability to pass a background check and drug screen.

Qualifications

• Able to meet physical requirements (lifting 75 lbs, patrols, stairs, inclement weather).

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent Customer Service to all parties.
• Conduct general patrols on foot and by vehicle to check for security issues.
• Control access for patrons, visitors or vendors as required.
• Monitor security cameras and patrols to guard against theft and maintain a safe environment.
• Maintain clear logs pertaining to people or property including packages.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies and record data for management.
• Other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities of Unarmed Security Officers include, but are not limited to:

• Provide excellent Customer Service to all parties encountered while on duty, including assisting with directions and general business information
• Conduct general patrols on foot and within a vehicle to check for security violations like unsafe conditions or unauthorized persons
• Control access for patrons, visitors or vendors as required
• Monitor security guard cameras and conduct patrols to guard against theft and maintain a safe environment
• Maintain clear, accurate logs pertaining to people or property including packages
• Respond to incidents, including emergencies at the property, and record data on incidents for building and Titan Security management
• Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications of Unarmed Security Officers:

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Able to acquire and maintain a valid security guard card/license (Marksman Security can assist)
• Able to pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check
• Able to read, write, speak, and understand English
• Able to meet physical essential functions of the job, which can include lifting 75 lbs, completing foot patrols, sitting, standing, walking, driving for a significant period of time, walking up and down stairs, working in inclement weather

Preferred Qualifications of Unarmed Security Officers:

• 1 year experience as a security officer or in a customer service, retail, hotel or restaurant position (PREFERRED)
• Bi-lingual considered a plus
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office software
