Job summary

Securitas USA seeks a Security Officer for a long-term, full-time assignment in Springfield, Oregon. The role emphasizes maintaining a secure environment, responding to emergencies, enforcing policies, and protecting people and assets. • Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license and clear driving record required.
• Above average computer / technology skills needed.
• Prior Security, Law Enforcement or Military experience a plus!!
• Must be able to work independently and provide excellent customer service.
• Must have the ability to remain calm under pressure and remain vigilant throughout shift.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgement and use appropriate escalation.
• Must have strong observational skills, excellent communication abilities, and quick decision-making capabilities.
• All candidates must be willing to participate in the Company’s pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.

• Uphold company policies, safety regulations, and legal compliance standards.
• Protect sensitive information and intellectual property from unauthorized access.
• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
• Perform access control at security entrances / exits.
• Conduct regular patrols of premises including buildings, parking lots, & entry points to identify potential security risks.
• Monitor and operate surveillance cameras, alarm systems, and security equipment.

This is a long-term, temporary assignment

Site Location: Springfield, OR

Wage: $19.50/HR

Schedule

• Friday - Saturday 4:30pm-4:30am, Sunday 4:30pm-6am
• Tuesday - Thursday 4:30pm-6am
• Saturday - Sunday 4:30am-4:30pm, Monday 4:30pm - 6am
