Job summary

7 Cedars Casino is seeking a full-time Casino Security Officer for the Day Shift to protect 7 Cedars Resort property, guests and staff. You will provide a visible security presence, respond to inquiries, and support resort operations across multiple properties on the Olympic Peninsula.

The role requires at least a high school diploma or GED, and candidates with public relations or casino security experience and basic safety training are preferred.

Qualifications

  • Must be 21 years or older.
  • Dispatching and 2-way radio skills preferred.
  • One-year public relations and casino security experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of safety/security practices including First Aid, CPR, emergency procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Deal with customers and employees, diffusing anger with tact and diplomacy.
  • Promote guest satisfaction by responding to guest inquiries.
  • Observe RV parking and all parking areas and all accessible buildings on the property.
  • Provide assistance to every department and Resort guests.
  • Casino Security Officers will report any unusual activity to the Sergeant on duty immediately.
  • Provide basic Fire Fighting, First Aid and safety response.
  • Complete all daily logs, incident reports and other legal documents.
  • File accurate and truthful reports concerning guests, employees, or themselves.
  • Operate company vehicles as directed and drive shuttles for guests and employees.
  • Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.
  • Follow all safety rules and department policies and procedures.
  • Man stationary security posts and ensure guests are of legal age in designated areas.
  • Partake in the slot drop which requires physical effort.
