Job summary

Surefox North America Inc is seeking an experienced Incident Commander to join our Bay Area team. You will patrol facilities, monitor access, and respond to incidents as a liaison with clients and the Security Operations Center.

The role requires strong observation, communication, and decision-making skills, plus the ability to work independently or as part of a team. A BSIS guard card and CPR/First Aid certification are preferred or required where applicable.

Qualifications

• Must pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
• Must live within driving distance or be willing to relocate.
• Must have a current BSIS guard card or be eligible to qualify.
• Must have a high school degree or equivalent.
• Must have a current CPR & First Aid certification or be eligible to qualify.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with a Security Operations Center by responding to calls for service and reporting suspicious activity.

• Proactively investigate and report accidents, incidents, or other suspicious activity.
• Verify identification of employees, vendors, or guests and control access using badges.
• Document security events and routine activity in daily activity or incident reports.
• Perform light front desk duties: greet visitors, verify access, and create a positive first impression.
• Assist employees and provide a professional, welcoming environment for visitors and clients.
• Build rapport with workplace & facilities teams, employees, visitors, and clients.

We are currently seeking an experienced Incident Commander with high integrity and professionalism who can join our team here in the Bay Area. You will be working on uniquely assigned projects under the guidance of the Shift Supervisors and Area Managers for our top Silicon Valley clients. In your day to day role as an Incident Commander, you will be acting as a liaison between Surefox and its clients while providing emergency response. You will perform all duties in accordance with client policies and procedures, and all state & federal regulations. Other responsibilities include responding to emergency events, medical & non-medical issues, and handling client requests in a timely manner with an emphasis on customer service. Under certain circumstances, an Incident Commander will be expected to initiate preliminary investigations by writing incident reports on all internal client and company issues. To be successful in this position, you must be able to handle the physical demands of the role and the activity required as part of the static or foot patrol responsibilities of the various positions. We are looking for someone who has exceptional observational skills and pays close attention to detail.
