Job summary

The Securitas security officer position in Oskaloosa, IA is a full-time role focused on maintaining a safe environment. The officer will monitor premises, control access, and patrol at multiple client sites, enforcing regulations and directives for personnel, visitors, and areas.

Responsibilities include de-escalation, reporting hazards, and providing information to employees and guests, while using technology devices and following post orders. Training, uniforms, and benefits are included.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Above average computer / technology skills needed.
• Security, Law Enforcement, or Military experience a plus.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills needed.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must be able to remain calm and professional during stressful situations.
• Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift.
• Must have a professional demeanor.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgment and use appropriate escalation.
• All candidates must be willing to participate in the Company’s pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
• Reliable transportation required.

• Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.

Wage: $18.50/HR

Spit Schedule: Potential Overtime Available!!

• Site 1: Weekends 3rd Shift
• Site 2: Wednesdays 1st Shift

TheSecurity Officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including access control and patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order whileenforcing regulations and directives for our client sites pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area.
