Securitas US Business Unit is seeking a Security Officer in a full-time capacity to help maintain a safe environment at client sites. The role emphasizes access control, monitoring premises, and enforcing site regulations with a focus on professional conduct and customer service.

The candidate will perform patrols, respond to incidents, and report safety concerns while following post orders and daily routines. Strong communication and independent work are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills needed.
• Must be able to work independently and stay calm in stressful situations.

Primary Location: Silver City, NM

Wage:$17.90/HR

TheSecurity Officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including access control and patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order whileenforcing regulations and directives for our client sites pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area. !

What You Can Expect:

• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity.
• Ensure that all post orders are followed and assigned rounds are completed.
• Provide customer service and information to theclient’s employees and guests.
• Utilizing technology devices throughout shift.
• Conduct tours of the property.
• Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.

Basic Requirements:

• 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Above average computer / technology skills needed.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills needed.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must be able to remain calm and professional during stressful situations.
• Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift.
• Must have a professional demeanor.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgment and use appropriate escalation.
• All candidates must be willing to participate in the Company’s pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
• Guard Card License Level 1 needed.
