Job summary

Securitas, Inc. is seeking a Security Officer for full-time night coverage in Menomonie, WI. The role involves active monitoring, access control, and patrolling multiple client sites to maintain a secure environment.

You will enforce site regulations, report hazards, and assist employees and guests. The position requires strong customer service, calm judgment in emergencies, and the ability to work independently across shifts.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Monitor premises and enforce client site regulations.
• Perform access control and patrol various locations.
• Identify and report safety issues and suspicious activity.
• Maintain posted rounds and follow post orders.
• Provide information to employees and guests as needed.
• Utilize security technology during shift.
• Conduct site tours as required.
• Carry out similar duties at assigned site.

Primary Location: Menomonie, WI

Wage: $21.63/HR

Schedule: Mon - Tues: 1500 - 2300 & Wed - Thurs: 1400 - 2200

TheSecurity Officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including access control and patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order whileenforcing regulations and directives for our client sites pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area.

What You Can Expect

• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity.
• Ensure that all post orders are followed and assigned rounds are completed.
• Provide customer service and information to theclient’s employees and guests.
• Utilizing technology devices throughout shift.
• Conduct tours of the property.
• Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.

Basic Requirements

• 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Above average computer / technology skills needed.
• Security, Law Enforcement, or Military experience a plus.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills needed.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must be able to remain calm and professional during stressful situations.
• Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift.
• Must have a professional demeanor.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgment and use appropriate escalation.
• All candidates must be willing to participate in the Company’s pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Must have a clean driving record for the past three (3) years.
• Must pass a hearing / vision test.
