Securitas, Inc. in Sturtevant, WI is seeking a Security Officer to protect people, property, and assets. The role involves patrolling, access control, monitoring systems, and responding to emergencies to maintain a safe environment.

Shifts include Thursday through Monday 4pm-12am and flexible floating options. The position offers $19.85/hr with potential to move into a full-time role, plus benefits and weekly pay.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record required.
• Above average computer / technology skills needed.
• Prior Security, Law Enforcement or Military experience a plus.
• Must be able to work independently and provide excellent customer service.
• Must have the ability to remain calm under pressure and remain vigilant throughout shift.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgement and use appropriate escalation.
• Must have strong observational skills, excellent communication abilities, and quick decision-making capabilities.
• All candidates must be willing to participate in the Company’s pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a secure environment that protects employees, customers, and visitors from harm.
• Respond effectively to emergencies and security incidents to minimize risk and damage.
• Uphold company policies, safety regulations, and legal compliance standards.
• Protect sensitive information and intellectual property from unauthorized access.
• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
• Perform access control at security entrances / exits.
• Conduct regular patrols of premises including buildings, parking lots, & entry points to identify potential security risks.
• Monitor and operate surveillance cameras, alarm systems, and security equipment.

Job description

Security Officer — Full & Part Time

Site Location: Sturtevant, WI

Wage: $19.85/HR

Shifts Available:

• 1) Thursday - Monday 4pm-12am
• 2) Floating/Flexible shifts available

Ability to move into the next available full-time position if interested.

The Security Officer protects people, property, and assets by patrolling premises, monitoring systems, controlling access, and responding to emergencies to maintain a safe and secure environment. They serve as a helpful professional resource while ensuring everyone on the property follows safety protocols.
