Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a Security Officer to help protect residents and property. You will patrol buildings and grounds, inspect access points, respond to alarms and emergencies, and document incidents to support safe, caring communities.

The role requires a HS diploma/GED, 2+ years of related experience, good judgment, clear communication, and basic computer skills. A valid driver's license is preferred where required; Sunrise offers comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine patrols of buildings, grounds, and parking areas.
• Inspect doors, windows, gates, and access points.
• Respond to alarms, security calls, and on-site emergencies.
• Investigate and document incidents or suspicious activity.
• Complete daily Security Logs and incident reports.
• Monitor fire safety, hazards, and unsecured areas.
• Escort residents and team members after hours.
• Support OSHA and infection control compliance.
• Secure and unlock areas per policy.

What We're Looking For:

Pay Range:

14.75 - 18.50
