Job summary

First Coast Security is seeking a dedicated Unarmed Security Officer to monitor entrances, conduct patrols, assist visitors, and respond to safety concerns on site in Leesburg, VA. The role emphasizes vigilance, post orders, and professional presence.

Comprehensive training is provided to obtain the state guard card and CPR certification, with clear advancement paths into supervisory roles within a supportive, team-focused culture.

Qualifications

• Must be able to obtain an Unarmed Professional Security License as required by state
• Must be able to obtain a First Aid/CPR/AED certification
• Must be able to pass a drug screening, driving record check and background check
• Must be authorized to work in the United States
• Able to meet physical demands including lifting up to 40 lbs. and long periods of standing

Responsibilities

• Conduct patrols and monitor all access points, interior and exterior
• Stand guard at assigned posts to maintain visibility and ensure site security
• Observe and report hazards or suspicious activity and complete daily logs and incident reports
• Respond quickly to emergencies or threats
• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors
• Maintain a clean and professional appearance at all times

REQUIREMENTS

• Must be able to obtain an Unarmed Professional Security License as required by state
• Must be able to obtain a First Aid/CPR/AED certification
• Must be able to pass a drug screening, driving record check and background check
• Must be authorized to work in the United States
• Must be at least 18 years old or 21 or older for any driving position
• proficient English language communication, reading, and writingskills
• Able to meet all physical demands, including occasional lifting (up to 40 lbs.), and performing tasks such as bending, climbing, running, walking, and standing for long periods of time as needed
• Previous security, customer service, military, or law enforcement experience is helpful but not required
