Job summary

Northside Hospital is seeking a security professional to maintain a safe and secure environment for patients, visitors, and staff across our Atlanta-area campuses.

You will interact with visitors, coworkers, physicians, patients and family members, apply security procedures, and support a culture of compassionate care.

The role emphasizes teamwork, discretion, and professional communication as you respond to incidents, monitor access points, and coordinate with hospital leadership.

Qualifications

• Six months hospital experience or Security/Safety, Fire, Police, Military Police, Ambulance/EMT, or similar occupation. One year of college may be substituted.
• Must demonstrate knowledge and application of Security, Safety, or Law Enforcement techniques and procedures.
• Excellent public relation/customer service skills, and good written and oral communication skills.
• MOAB Certification or complete MOAB Certification within three months of employment.
• BLS-Healthcare Provider Certification course, upon hire.
• Current/Valid Georgia Driver's License; those new to GA must obtain within 90 days of hire.

REQUIRED

• Six (6) months Hospital experience or Security/Safety, Fire, Police, Military Police, Ambulance/EMT, or similar occupation. One (1) year of college may be substituted.


• Must demonstrate complete knowledge and application of Security, Safety, or Law Enforcement techniques and procedures.


• Must possess excellent public relation/customer service skills, and good written and oral communication skills.


• Must either possess Management of Aggressive Behavior (MOAB) Certification or successfully complete the MOAB Certification course within three months of employment.


• Must successfully complete BLS-Healthcare Provider Certification course, offered by the organization, upon hire.


• Current/Valid Georgia Driver's License (new GA residents must obtain valid GA Driver's License within 90 days of hire)
