Job summary

Northside Hospital Inc. is seeking a Security Officer to help maintain a safe and secure environment for patients, visitors and staff in our Atlanta area facility. The role requires interaction with numerous stakeholders and adherence to hospital security protocols.

Ideal candidates have at least six months hospital or related security experience, MOAB and BLS certifications, and a valid Georgia driver’s license. Availability for weekend shifts is required.

Qualifications

• Six months hospital experience or Security/Safety, Fire, Police, Military Police, Ambulance/EMT, or similar occupation; one year of college may be substituted.
• Demonstrate complete knowledge and application of Security, Safety, or Law Enforcement techniques and procedures.
• Excellent public relation/customer service skills, and good written and oral communication skills.
• Must possess MOAB Certification or complete the MOAB Certification course within three months of employment.
• Must complete BLS-Healthcare Provider Certification course upon hire.
• Current/Valid Georgia Driver's License (new GA residents must obtain within 90 days of hire)

Qualifications

• REQUIRED:1. Six (6) months Hospital experience or Security/Safety, Fire, Police, Military Police, Ambulance/EMT, or similar occupation. One (1) year of college may be substituted.
• 2. Must demonstrate complete knowledge and application of Security, Safety, or Law Enforcement techniques and procedures.
• 3. Must possess excellent public relation/customer service skills, and good written and oral communication skills.
• 4. Must either possess Management of Aggressive Behavior (MOAB) Certification or successfully complete the MOAB Certification course within three months of employment.
• 5. Must successfully complete BLS-Healthcare Provider Certification course, offered by the organization, upon hire.
• 6. Current/Valid Georgia Driver's License (new GA residents must obtain valid GA Driver's License within 90 days of hire)

7:00am - 7:00pm
